This project was a complete restoration and strengthening of the Port Chalmers Town Hall building.

The work included major structural strengthening to floors and walls, upgraded window and doors, replastering affected areas and partial reroofing.

The fitout included new premises for the Port Chalmers Library and community recreational and meeting facilities.

Stevenson & Williams Ltd were the builders, joinery manufacturers and main contractors for this project.
